Once you got past the check-in/reception area/HCA, and waiting time, the Consultant/Nurse Practitioner/Physiotherapist/Staff Nurse (whoever I am waiting to see) is very professional, knowledgeable, efficient, helpful and takes in what I am telling them about my current health issues/problems and past history.

Suggested improvements
Apart from the wait to get an initial appointment, the waste of time and money spent on sending duplicate appointment letters and cancellation/re-scheduling appointment letters which can add months to the start of any medical intervention, treatment, or even an operation or two.

When I got to the hospital, I very quickly became lost and as soon as a staff member spotted me flapping in the corridor, she stopped and assisted me to the chest clinic. Upon arrival, I was greeted in a friendly and helpful manner by the receptionist, completed some forms for her and it was next to no time before I was seen. The first nurse was delightful to converse with and I felt comfortable enough to open up to her about some tragic news I’d received that morning. She treated me with such care and compassion, it was exactly what I needed. She then called her colleague in to take my blood sample and between the two of them, the whole process was smooth, efficient and (almost!) painless. I left feeling very grateful for how kind and lovely all the staff were and cannot rate their care highly enough

Suggested improvements
Perhaps look into better systems for storing patient info. It baffles me that all NHS systems don’t link and get updated when a patient moves or changes their contact information

Doctor service was good , had to chase the nurses for my appointment with the consultants.

I have had active surveillance for 18 months and have had a poor experience and lost confidence in the nursing service. 3 monthly PSA checks have been 6 months and longer if I hadn’t intervened. My annual MRI scan was after 18 months as I couldn’t convince the specialist nurse that it was a requirement because my PSA hadn’t changed?. The MRI has since identified a new lesion requiring treatment and would have got worse if left untreated because of poor nursing practise. My suggestion is Proper TRAINING. In addition the specialist nurse telephone service needs improving so messages are responded to the same day.

hello good afternoon my name is Sarwan Singh Kalsi. I was in King George Hospital two days ago for my scan and per help because of I had my hip problem painful and which ever the doctors I see they give me very good advice and they look after me very well they had a x-rays done for me. At the end of the day. They check up all the all my report and give me the decision. Everything is okay for the moment and they give me some medication and release me roundabout at 8 o'clock

Suggested improvements
but we spend mostly all day along on Friday Saturday last, it shouldn't be take that long but improve your system. I'll be because very kind of you on that my treatment I'm very happy they investigate everything and I give you 10 out of 10 service
